There
are just some people that no matter what happens, it doesn't
seem to phase them. They are always happy, always looking
ahead. Do you ever wonder what it is they have that you
don't? What is missing in your life? Is there an empty space
that you are yearning to fill? Do you long for the passion
and fulfillment you see in others' lives?
There
is an answer in Jesus Christ!
You've
seen the bumper stickers: "No Jesus, No Peace; Know
Jesus, Know Peace."
It's true! Through Jesus Christ you can know peace, joy and
fulfillment greater than you ever imagined.
How
can it be that simple? Look to John 14:6 (NIV)
"Jesus
answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me.'"
So
why would you want to come to the Father anyway? Because He
loves you infinitely, no matter what you've done or where
you've been or who you are. He paid the ultimate price for
you, YOU , individually and personally ,
because of His love for you. "For God so loved the world that
he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NIV)
God
loves you SO MUCH that He sent His Son to DIE for you,
in your place. If you have children, your heart will cringe
at the thought of losing a child. That is why God wants to
save you. He wants YOU to be His child. "Yet to all who
received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the
right to become children of God---children not born of
natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will,
but born of God." John 1:12 (NIV)
"Here
I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice
and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he
with me."
Revelation 3:20
(NIV)
Won't
you come to him now?
If God is moving you to
come to Him, pray this prayer:
"Lord
Jesus Christ, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve
eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the
grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. I repent of
my sins and now place my trust in you for my salvation. I
accept the free gift of eternal life."
